Feature Highlight: Template Migration
TaskRay's Template Migration feature for Premium Edition users streamlines the process of building, testing, and deploying Salesforce templates by enabling seamless transfer from Sandbox to Production with a few clicks, reducing manual work, minimizing errors, enhancing compliance, expanding template management permissions beyond Admins, and allowing faster, safer, and more efficient template updates to support evolving business needs.
As your business evolves, adjusting your templates becomes necessary. In Salesforce, it's best practice to make and test changes or create new templates in Sandbox environments before deploying them to Production, to avoid impacting live data. Traditionally, this process required significant time and resources, as templates had to be built and tested in Sandbox and then manually recreated in Production. This manual process also introduced risk and made it challenging to comply with organizational change management requirements.
TaskRay has introduced a solution to these challenges: Template Migration. This feature, available to Premium Edition users who use Template Versioning, allows you to build and update templates in your Sandbox environment, thoroughly test them, and then transfer them to Production with just a few clicks. This eliminates duplicate work and ensures that changes made and tested in Sandbox are deployed to Production without surprises.

The feature also empowers more users to manage templates easily. New permission sets allow Template Managers to make changes previously restricted to Admins, such as adding or removing tasks or checklist items, modifying template ownership, enabling Public Dashboards, and more. This enables your team to respond to requests faster, implement changes sooner, and focus on higher-priority projects.
